St Jean de Monts, France is in the Vendee on the Atlantic coast. It's a big
resort type place. All up the coast there are France Ecole de Voile points
with a sailing school, advice and rescue. Some are good for chop, others
flat estuary and so on. The day was good from 2pm onwards. I was doing
great fun gybes going out about 3/4 of a mile. As the wind picked up it
started to get very hairy, now being overpowered, so I did mega upwinds
going out and flat out downwind comeing back over the waves. Did some big
scary jumps to. The only downer was they wouldn't let me park to carry the
stuff back to the car. They let us put the cars right on the ramps to
unload. Good day.
